Podwireless Deserted Island Discs 2

(This playlink is to Mixcloud streaming:  you can also download the podcasts from Podomatic )

Following on from mid-November's Deserted Island Discs 1 which got lots of nice feedback, here's a second collection resulting from pandemic lockdowns allowing more time for listening to old favourites, usually a rare luxury when all the great new releases keep piling in.

Deserted Island Discs 2 is once again a random and totally self-indulgent selection of music I've loved and accumulated down the years since discovering there were alternatives to the pop music heard on the radio when I was a young teenager. Mostly folk, roots and what used to be called world music, but as before it does go off-piste a few times!

Apologies that again there are no web site links given. A lot of these CDs were out of print before web sites became a thing. If they're not available from your usual retail source and you want to track them down, Mr Google and Mr Discogs are probably your best starting points.
